The Spurs’ Coyote put in his own two cents on a recent fashion trend by wearing a male romper during Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals.

The male romper has recently become a  hot-button issue following a number of celebrities sporting the clothing on social media. The Spurs mascot is the latest to join the bandwagon.

According to NPR, a Kickstarter campaign for the company RompHim has raised more than $250,000 in just a few days.

The Spurs’ mascot’s version was all-denim.

Needless to say, the security guard next to the Coyote seemed uncomfortable with the mascot dancing next to him. The Spurs mascot, meanwhile, seemed relaxed as he attempted to entertain the fans during the timeout.

During a recent episode of “Inside the NBA,” Ernie Johnson made it clear he is not a fan of the trend:

"“You can pretty much guarantee there will be no romper in my future.”"

The Spurs mascot may be the most entertaining part of this series for San Antonio fans. With Kawhi Leonard out due to an injury suffered during Game 1, the team has been unable to get anything going as they are on their way to a possible defeat that would leave them down 3-0 in the series. Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have yet to lose in the playoffs.

David Lee, who was playing very well early, missed the rest of the game due to a leg injury. Nothing can quite go right for the Spurs in this series.

The winner of the series will face either the Cleveland Cavaliers or the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals. Cleveland is also undefeated in the playoffs. They lead the Celtics 2-0 after two blowout victories.

The mascot did what he could to try to lift the spirits of Spurs fans, but nothing could overcome the emotions that come with the frustrating series.
