Warriors bench is delightfully disrespectful (Video)

The Golden State Warriors bench trolled San Antonio Spurs big man Davis Bertans after he fell to the floor while defending Draymond Green.
Things are not going very well for the San Antonio Spurs. They are down 0-3 in their best-of-seven series with the Golden State Warriors in the 2017 Western Conference Finals. San Antonio has lost point guard Tony Parker for the year. Small forward Kawhi Leonard hasn’t played since Game 1 and now center David Lee looks to be out for a while.
Injuries and attrition have simply wrecked the Spurs’ chances at winning a sixth NBA Championship in 2016-17. They will need a miracle to even reach the 2017 NBA Finals. Golden State came into their building on Saturday night and pushed them around in Game 3.
On play in particular stands out as an example of how the best-of-seven series is going for the Spurs. Warriors power forward Draymond Green would catch the ball at the top of the key near Golden State’s end of the floor. As he drove the lane, Spurs forward Davis Bertans would fall to the ground trying to defend him. The Golden State bench thought Bertans’ failed defensive effort was hilarious, and one member of the Warriors bench decided it was cool to join him on the San Antonio hardwood.

Everybody already knows that all the best parts about NBA basketball happen on the floor. There is probably nothing more exciting than two grown man fighting for an orange leathery thing on some nice wood flooring. Like Rubeus Hagrid’s hut in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Blood, the floor was the place to be in Game 3.
Bertans got up from his fall after that humiliating possession. The same could not be said for Lee after his dunk attempt in the first half. He unfortunately had to be taken into the Spurs locker room in a wheel chair after his fall.

Leonard will have to play in Game 4 in San Antonio for the Spurs to have any hopes of avoiding an embarrassing four-game Conference Finals sweep. Golden State isn’t going to show any mercy any way. The Warriors want a finals rematch with the Cleveland Cavaliers anyway.
