Kevin Love with unbelievable touch on this outlet pass (Video)

Kevin Love was everything for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first half of Game 3. Here he is with arguably his best outlet pass of his NBA career.
Kevin Love had himself a first half to remember for the Cleveland Cavaliers. In the first half of Game 3 of the 2017 Eastern Conference Finals, Love had 22 points on 7-11 shooting, including a blistering 7-10 from 3-point range. He also had two assists, two rebounds and a block.
While his smooth stroke from three was the story in the first half, his signature outlet pass was the best play from the first two quarters in Game 3. Love channelled his inner franchise quarterback and heaved the ball nearly the entire court over everybody.
It was essentially a brilliant 30-yard pass right into the hands of small forward LeBron James under the Boston Celtics basket for an easy bucket. Cleveland would take a commanding 66-50 lead over the Celtics into halftime.
Love has thoroughly embraced his new role with the Cavaliers in his third year with the team. He has played about as well as he did when he was the star player for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Love is lethal from distance as a jump shooter, clutch on the glass as rebounder, and otherworldly as the best outlet passer the NBA has to offer.
When he gathered that loose ball in transition, we had a feeling that Love was going to move the chains with his arm. That outlet pass had the touch of a Tom Brady, a Matt Ryan or a Russell Wilson. To put that ball exactly where he wanted it to go, only where James would be under the basket, is further demonstration of Love’s remarkable long-distance passing ability.

Since he has had the hot hand in the first half, look for James and Cleveland point guard Kyrie Irving to continue to keep him involved in the offense. This would be huge for Cleveland, as James can pace himself to better get ready for presumably the 2017 NBA Finals.
