The Cavaliers have completely overwhelmed the Celtics through two games of the Eastern Conference Finals. Cleveland handed Boston their worst home playoff loss in franchise history in Game 2. LeBron James is averaging 34 points, 6.5 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals against Boston. The Celtics’ defenders look like teenagers as they try to corral LeBron.
All-Star point guard Isaiah Thomas has scored just 19 points total on 7-for-25 shooting from the field through two games in this series. Now, Boston will have to figure out how to move forward without Thomas who will miss the rest of the playoffs with a hip injury. Meanwhile, LeBron James still vows Cleveland is capable of reaching another level. It’s probably time for Celtics fan to find solace in having the top pick in the upcoming NBA Draft.
