What was once a cultural phenomenon is back on premium cable 25 years later. Here’s how to watch the first episode of the Twin Peaks revival online.

When Twin Peaks first premiered in 1990, it captured audiences all over the world as they eagerly watched the mystery of who killed Laura Palmer play out. But after that mystery was resolved, people started losing interest and it resulted in ABC pulling the plug after season 2. As a result, the last thing we saw from Twin Peaks was an unresolved cliffhanger. There was a theatrical film, Fire Walk With Me, a year later, but it served as a prequel to the show.

People have been waiting for 25 years to see some sort of continuation to the original series. But it is finally here, and as they always say, better late than never. Showtime will air 18 episodes of Twin Peaks, and David Lynch will direct every single one of them. Seeing as how there’s no plan after this series, this will probably be the last we see of Dale Cooper and the ensemble cast.

Here’s the synopsis for “The Return”, according to TV Guide:

"My log has a message for you; The stars turn and a time presents itself."

So where can you catch tonight’s episode of Twin Peaks and when will all of the action go down? We have all the information you need to know right here so you don’t miss a second of the action.

Twin Peaks ended with Cooper getting possessed by Bob. Chances are, he’s still there and will return to the small town. While the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Department needed Cooper to solve the Laura Palmer case, they must try to deal with him as a threat. More than anything, this first episode won’t be short on intrigue.
