Kevin Durant, while flailing his arms on a Dejounte Murray layup, managed to block a shot twice before he could even hit the ground.

Apparently Kevin Durant has been watching some LeBron James film before the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers inevitably battle in the NBA Finals, as Durant utilized some unique blocking in Game 4 against the San Antonio Spurs.

While routing the Spurs in a potential elimination game for the Western Conference Finals, Durant just made things turn from bad to straight up ugly for his opponents, as he annihilated a shot from Spurs point guard Dejounte Murray.

Durant chased down Murray’s layup attempt, and blocked it cleanly right at the backboard. The ball quickly bounced right back at Durant, and he made sure it wouldn’t come back ever again as he swatted the shot a second time.

The Spurs already find themselves down 3-0 in the series with the Warriors, and they’re in the midst of an embarrassing home loss to Golden State in Game 4. The Warriors were up 14 at the half, but look like they could go up big at any moment in San Antonio. The loss of Kawhi Leonard for the series, along with the injury to Tony Parker against the Rockets, have both proven to be fatal for the Spurs in this series.

Meanwhile, Durant has been smooth sailing through this series, and had a strong first half outside of this spectacular block. He and Steph Curry each put up 18 points in the first half, accounting for over half of their team’s 65 points. The team looks to be in solid shape to lock up another NBA Finals appearance, and could have the chance to avenge last year’s loss to the Cavaliers.

Murray, at just 20 years old, may have just received a whole career’s worth of embarrassment from the NBA vet on this block, and may think twice next time about going up against Durant on a fast break.
