NBA All-Time Mock Draft: Which NBA legends would get picked by teams right now?

10. Sacramento (From New Orleans) – Kevin Garnett
In a normal draft, having picks five and 10 is nice, but not insanely nice. In this NBA All-Time Draft, having two top-ten picks is franchise-altering. The Kings used their picks smartly here, and added a player just as intense as Bird in Kevin Garnett.
KG is one of the best defensive big men ever, and that means he’s a perfect fit next to Bird, who wasn’t necessarily fantastic on that end. Small lineups with two guards, Buddy Hield, Larry Legend and Garnett would be a lot of fun to watch.
Garnett is primarily known as a defender (and for his gravity-defying hood that always stays barely on his head in Area 21), but he was far from lost on offense. KG averaged 17.8 points per game in his career, to go with 10.0 rebounds. 3.7 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.4 blocks per game.
His numbers in his prime, the first 12 years he spent with the Minnesota Timberwolves, speak to how dominant KG really was. In that time Garnett averaged 20.5 points, 11.4 rebounds. 4.5 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.7 blocks per game. The versatility of The Big Ticket might make him even more appreciated in his second career with the Kings.
Also a legendary trash talker, the combination of KG and Larry Legend would make other teams hate the Kings. The Warriors already take everything too personally–imagine if Draymond Green was hearing from Bird and Garnett every time he missed a post shot or a 3.
