Well, this series took an unexpected turn on Sunday night.The Cavaliers squandered a 21-point lead over the Celtics to suffer their first loss of the postseason. Avery Bradley knocked down a 3-pointer with 0.1 seconds left to secure a 111-08 win in Game 3 for Boston. The Celtics were playing without Isaiah Thomas, but proved they would not quit. Many spectators were calling for a sweep after Cleveland eviscerated Boston in the first two games.
When Cleveland appeared poised to take a 3-0 lead, Boston came surging back behind a career-high seven 3-pointers from Marcus Smart. The Celtics may not replicate that effort, but it was nice to see them hit back against the defending champions in a hostile environment. LeBron James has dominated these playoffs, but had as many turnovers (3) as points in the second half. The Cavaliers will look to regroup in Game 4.
