21. The Washington Fun Bunch

The Washington Redskins were pretty good in the 1980s. They also had fun, especially in their wide receiving corps. Art Monk, Virgil Seay, Charlie Brown and Alvin Garrett were all proud members of the Fun Bunch. The Fun Bunch also included tight ends Rich Walker, Don Warren and running back Otis Wonsley.

It was a very inclusive, fun group, hence the nickname for this magnificent seven known as the fun bunch. They epitomized group celebrations and supreme choreography. Monk was a good player, eventually making it into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Without his starring role in the Fun Bunch, who knows if he gets there.

Basically, the Fun Bunch would do whatever they wanted together. Most of the time they would form a circle and do group high fives while in mid-air. We are now 100 percent that Captain Planet and the Power Rangers were a complete rip-off of the fun bunch.

When Monk, Seay, Brown and Garrett got together and leapt in the air to celebrate, it was as blessed of a day as when San Diego’s Channel 4 news team decided to mix it up and get new suits. Every boy band owes at least $1 million to the Fun Bunch for inspirational purposes. Besides playing sports, when can four males ever agree on anything at the same time? Their teamwork made the dream work, as winning Super Bowls.
