Far Cry 5 makes its way to America in new trailer

The first official trailer for Far Cry 5 is here. The series makes it way to America, where you’ll play in Hope County, Montana.

After the strange direction the series took with Far Cry: Primal, it seems like the Ubisoft is taking the series back to its roots. The first trailer for Far Cry 5 showcases exactly what to expect. We see a huge and vast world to explore, a ton of interesting characters we’ll be meeting, and various conflicts. Like in every game, there will be a ton of fun missions and a compelling story that will draw you in from the get-go.

The most notable difference in Far Cry 5 is the change of setting. This entry will be coming to America. Most games in the series are set in tropical locations. For example, in Far Cry 3 you mainly play on an island in the middle of the Indian and Pacific Oceans. In similar fashion, Far Cry 4 also contains a tropical setting in a place known as Kyrat. It’s a fictional Himalayan country.

We’re sure Far Cry 5 will be somewhat the same. But, being that it’s set in America, we’re expecting a much more modern and southern take.

The trailer definitely sends an ominous and mysterious message. From the cinematic cut-scenes, you can tell that this will be a brutal one. Like most games that are released in this current generation, the graphics are absolutely stunning. They seem to get better and better and Far Cry 5 may take it to a new level.
