In one of the more exciting FA Cup finals in recent memory, Arsenal came out victorious over a streaking Chelsea side.

Arsenal won the FA Cup over one of the best team’s in recent history. Chelsea won the Premier League with a record 30 wins in a 38-match season, which means the result qualifies as an upset, no matter how good of a side Arsenal are. As alway, Twitter was the place to be for immediate fan reactions.

This is Arsenal’s 13th FA Cup victory and the seventh of the Arsene Wenger era. The reassuring win might keep him in London, despite rumors of his departure.

This was a game of controversy that angered many fans. Alexis Sanchez scored a goal in the fourth minute that could have easily been disallowed for both a handball and an offside. Victor Moses was later sent off for diving. However, it did make for an entertaining match.

This might be Sanchez’s last match in an Arsenal jersey.

Many football fans were simply happy to see Chelsea finally lose after a storied season.

This match delivered a much needed catharsis for fans of the London side, who have been disappointing this season. The Gunners finished the season fifth in the Premier League, leaving out of the Champions League for next season. The players looked delighted to lift the FA Cup trophy after a frustrating year.
