11. Superfrog

If your mascot is named “Superfrog”, it better be able to do something spectacular. The TCU Horned Frogs’ all-powerful today is certainly unlike any other mascot in college and has a unique vibe.

That being said, it certainly has a rather strange look. First off, the concerned look on the face of the horned frog sheds that superhero image right off the bat. To its credit, the frog does look like it’s in fantastic shape and it has the body of a superior specimen.

This amphibian certainly is goofy based on name alone. I mean Superfrog is a hilarious name anyway it’s drawn up. That’s not a slight at all to this wonderful creature, more or less just one’s opinion on things. He’s a misunderstood masterpiece of sorts.

How many other mascots are super though? And no, Puddles doesn’t count despite whatever funny thing he might do next in Eugene. So that’s where the money is made here with this fine mascot.

The Big 12 has some hits and it has some misses. A lot of the conference would fall under the more legendary category than the goofiest category. It’s a bit reaching for straws but Superfrog matches the criteria.
