4. Chris Davis

Chris Davis of the Baltimore Orioles is a scary looking player. Not only is he huge (6’3″ 230 pounds), he’s also got an evil glare even when he’s happy. Davis is famous for snapping his bats in half after striking out. So imagine what he would do to a pitcher if he charged the mound.

Pitchers might not have to imagine that because Davis already has. Granted, it was last year and it was only done to help protect his teammate Manny Machado. But Davis straight up clotheslined somebody (who might have been one of his coaches) during the benches-clearing brawl. He was one of the first players to the mound.

He’s also a pretty fast guy, so he’d approach the mound quickly. You wouldn’t even get much of a chance to react if Davis charges you. If you’re lucky, he’d just steamroll over you and move on to his next victim. On the other hand, maybe if Davis doesn’t drop his bat, he wouldn’t be able to hit you, with his 501 strikeouts since the start of the 2015 season. But if he connects, its lights out for you.

Davis is also a pretty emotional guy (as shown by his bat breaking). So yeah, definitely don’t provoke the potential beast.
