NBA Finals 2017: 5 most heated moments in the Warriors-Cavaliers rivalry
2. Draymond ‘bulldozing’ LeFlop
There is never any shortage of entertainment when Draymond and LeBron are on the court together. In an era that is defined by 3-point shooting and free-flowing offenses, these two bring physicality to the forefront.
Sometimes, there’s a bit too much physicality and two immovable objects collide. During the January matchup between the teams, LeBron and Draymond collided. While on a breakaway, Draymond was trying to stop LeBron by any means. I guess to him, that meant merely running into LeBron.
Anytime two giant human beings like that collide at a fast pace, someone is bound to go down. Funnily enough, the bigger man went down. While there was clear contact that was ultimately, probably unnecessary from Draymond, LeBron exaggerated the situation.
LeBron, or LeFlop, went down almost instantly, throwing his arms up in agony and laying motionless on the court. LeBron knew exactly what he was doing and seemingly lowered his shoulder in preparation of the contact.
The best part was Draymond mocking LeBron on his way back to the bench. Draymond threw his hands in the air and kicked a leg out to mimic LeFlop. If there is still some residual beef between the players from this incident, it will likely play out on the court later this week.
