If you managed to live through your excitement and avoid all the spoilers, then it’s time to watch Wonder Woman, and here’s exactly when it comes out.

Now that it’s become the most-anticipated film of the summer, more and more people are starting to take notice of Diana Prince and her first solo live-action film. Additionally, anyone who’s seen the movie early can attest that it’s a film certainly worth waiting for.

So knowing that the movie comes out “soon” is great. But many people feel like they’ve been waiting their whole lives to see the Princess of Themyscira come to the big screen in a well-rounded film that didn’t leave anyone disappointed. So far, all signs point to this movie being everything we wanted and more.

Early Wonder Woman fan screenings set Twitter abuzz with high praise for the film. But a majority of us haven’t seen it yet. Of course, Wonder Woman doesn’t officially open in theaters until June 2 (it was moved up from June 23 last year). But at this point, everyone who’s dying to see it and hardcore cinephiles will likely buy their tickets for the Thursday before. Usually, the earliest showings begin the evening of Thursday, June 1.

To buy tickets at your local theater, you can head on over to Fandango or the ticket-purchasing site of your choice. (I find Fandango to be best, personally.)

However, if you’re in a lucky state like Texas or New York, you may want to look into the Alamo Drafthouse screenings. For additional fun, Alamo will hold women-only screenings for the film. Though, reportedly, they all sold out at this point.

Still, the idea’s really great:

"“Apologies, gentlemen, but we’re embracing our girl power and saying ‘No Guys Allowed’ for one special night at the Alamo Ritz. And we say ‘Women (and People Who Identify As Women) Only,’ we mean it. Everyone working at this screening — venue staff, projectionist, and culinary team — will be female.”"

Obviously, there will always be people who miss the point completely. But, you know, what are you going to do? Alamo clearly has everything under control.

Perhaps what’s more important is making sure everyone who sees this movie and enjoys it tells other people to watch it. It’s tracking toward a bigger opening than originally anticipated (Was Warner Bros. right not to be worried about the ad campaign or did things change when they saw the outrage? Just a thought to ponder.), so a great opening would be a big win in several different areas. What areas? Well, female-led action movies, the DCEU, female directors, and just women in general, to name a few.

Also, if you go on June 2 or see it in theaters at all, be sure to give a shout-out to director Patty Jenkins if you’re on Twitter because supporting cool stuff is wonderful.
