With Wonder Woman set to hit theaters, how long will this movie be?
The spring features plenty of big-name movies being released in theaters. This includes a handful of superhero movies, including Marvel’s Logan and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 in March and May, respectively. There is another one set to follow these, with Wonder Woman becoming DC’s first release of 2017.
Wonder Woman is the first solo female movie for this superhero, which will star Gal Gadot in the leading role. Gadot has been part of Fast and Furious in 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2015, along with Keeping Up with the Joneses. Chris Pine, Robin Wright, David Thewlis and Connie Nielsen are among the other members of the cast.
Superhero movies can typically be lengthy. The latest Guardians of the Galaxy and Logan were both two-plus hours, featuring plenty of action and storyline for the hero going against the villain.
So how long will Wonder Woman be? Well, moviegoers can expect to be in the theater for 141 minutes.
For a comparison to other DCEU movies, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice lasted 151 minutes, so this will be just 10 minutes less. This was one of the longest ones from the DCEU, but they did just put out Suicide Squad at 137 minutes in August 2016, which is about on point with Wonder Woman.
Two-pus hours can be a long time to sit through what is ostensibly a solo superhero flick, as it’s not the standard 90 minutes for a typical viewing. However, as long as the movie can keep someone’s interest, the length may not be an issue. It leaves plenty of time to eat your popcorn, drink soda, sit back and enjoy time in front of the big screen.

Wonder Woman will have its U.S. release on Friday, Jun. 2, with showings starting as early as 7 p.m. the night before.
