NYCFC host the New England Revolution at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday, May 31. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

NYCFC and New England, who meet at Yankee Stadium this Wednesday, are both coming off losses.

NYCFC look to regroup quickly after a 3-1 loss to Atlanta United, a game that was one of the least impressive outings during the Patrick Vieira era. The rumors that have Vieira heading back to France may have contributed to a loss of focus and instability in the NYCFC locker room.  Some lineup changes are very likely as a result of Sunday’s loss. Andrea Pirlo is close to full fitness and may be inserted into the starting lineup to provide some much needed confidence and stability in midfield. Khiry Shelton continues to be out injured, so the scoring burden once again falls on David Villa and young rising star Jack Harrison.

After a 2-1 loss at Red Bull Arena on Saturday, the Revs are looking for a reversal of fortunes across the Hudson River. Head coach Jay Heaps will benefit from the returns of Andrew Farrell and Benjamin Angoua, both should slide right into their starting spots on the backline following their suspensions.

A win would allow the NYCFC to keep pace with Eastern Conference leaders Toronto and Chicago, while the Revs are looking to jump start their season following a slow start that currently has them in ninth place in the East.

The MLS game between NYCFC and the New England Revolution will be broadcast live on the YES Network and MLS Live. Live streaming is available on the YES Network which you can access with your cable or satellite subscriptions.
