Tiger Woods’ car has damage after DUI arrest

New details were released on Tiger Woods’ car following his DUI arrest, including photos about some of the damage done to the vehicle.

Tiger Woods has had details flying in left and right the last few days about his arrest on Monday night, and a new wrinkle was added when photos of Woods’ car following the incident.

Previously, different details were released about the arrest, like Woods blowing a 0.0 on a breathalyzer test, and apparently being found asleep in a running vehicle on the side of the road.

Andrew Lofholm of WPTV in Florida tweeted out photos of the 2015 black Mercedes-Benz after the arrest in Jupiter, FL, which seem to show some serious damage to the car’s tires and rims. The tire on the car is severely popped, and the rim was badly damaged, meaning he must’ve been going pretty fast and hit something pretty hard to pull off what he did to the tires.

The damage also gives a possible reasoning for why Woods was pulled over on the side of the road, where he was found by the police. He may have pulled over for the damage, and fallen asleep before taking any action regarding the accident. Woods has said that the incident happened from a mix of the prescription drugs and painkillers he was taking from his fourth back surgery.

Woods was charged with driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages, chemical substances or controlled substances on Monday morning and was also cited for improper stopping, standing or parking in an illegal place, and has a court date in July for the incident.

While alcohol seemingly wasn’t a piece of the problem for Woods, it’s still a bad look on an already tarnished career. Between his injuries, romantic issues, and now this arrest, Woods appears to be in a tough spot.
