Before Game 1 of the NBA Finals, Golden State Warriors fans held signs of a sly Draymond Green, #pettywarz, and LeBron James sobbing.

This prank during the warmups of the first game of the 2017 NBA Finals was the work of World War Wob, a famous Twitter account with nearly 80,000 followers.

This image has quickly gone viral and is sporadically trending on Twitter.

The same picture of LeBron James crying was held in front of the faces of multiple Toronto Raptors fans. The Cleveland Cavaliers swept the series 4-0.

This prank comes at the beginning of a contentious series between the Cavaliers and the Warriors. This is the third straight NBA Finals meeting of the two best teams in basketball.

In 2015, Golden State won the series in six games, but Cleveland earned its revenge in 2016. After the Warriors raced to a 3-1 series lead, the Cavaliers came back to win the series in an exciting Game 7.

2017’s NBA Finals, which begin Thursday, is set to be a great series. Both teams want to be labeled as a dynasty. Also, they each want the rubber match of this recent rivalry.

The two best players in basketball of the past five years lead these two previously starving franchises. Stephen Curry, who won the 2015 and 2016 NBA MVP, hopes to return the Warriors to the top. Meanwhile, LeBron James wants to cushion his position as basketball’s most unstoppable force while also cementing his legacy.

In fact, this series could be the best ever. Unlike many NBA Finals, the players need the win for their reputation just as much as the organizations. The players have a deep rooted loyalty for their franchise, which makes a win all the more important to each individual.

This joke might make the Cavaliers even more hungry for victory as Game 1 begins at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California.
