Aaron Judge has been clocking home runs left and right for the Yankees, and Friday night was no different against the Blue Jays.

Aaron Judge is in the midst of an incredible rookie season, and he kept up his rapid pace in Toronto against the Blue Jays on Friday night.

Judge has smashed a couple huge home runs throughout his rookie year, and hit another monster bomb at the Rogers Centre that travelled 448 feet. The home run broke a 5-0 Blue Jays lead, and brought the Yankees within three runs in the sixth inning at the expense of Blue Jays starter Francisco Liriano.

According to ESPN Stats and Info, the home run was his fourth-longest of the year, and he hit his league-best ninth home run that’s travelled more than 425 feet. He has a league-high 18 home runs this season, and is proving to be living up to the hype that’s surrounding his first year in the league.

The rookie sensation must’ve been feeling it all day, as he hit a ball even further earlier in the day before the game. The home run came on the same day that Judge smashed a 510-foot homer in the team’s batting practice, but obviously the feat is far more impressive in an actual game.

The Yankees, not so coincidentally, are having a fantastic year that finds them atop the AL East, and Judge’s success has some direct correlation to that. The team is hoping their 6-foot-7 young gun can keep up his impressive power throughout the rest of the year, and bring them back to the postseason for the first time since their Wild Card loss to the Houston Astros in 2015.

The playoffs are still a long ways away, so until then, we all just need to hope for some more rockets coming off of Judge’s bat for the Yankees to watch and drool over.
