See the first trailer for Need for Speed: Payback

A new reveal trailer has confirmed a new Need for Speed game, Need for Speed: Payback. The story will be all about vengeance.

When you think of racing games, you think of games like Forza, Gran Turismo and even Mario Kart. Another very popular game in the genre is Need for Speed. If you’re fans of that series, then you’re in luck because of the new game, Need for Speed: Payback. There isn’t much to see right now, but it does sounds promising, which is encouraging.

The series got a fresh start in 2015 with a reboot. It seems like Payback will be a sequel to this game and will look to continue where it left off. A few details have also been revealed at the EA website. For example, you’ll be able to build your own supercar to beat the competition. There’s also the garage, where you’ll be able to fully customize your ride to your liking.

We expect to learn more about the game in a little over a week at E3 2017 during EA Play. If you happen to be attending the show, then you’ll be lucky enough to test it out and maybe that’ll convince you to purchase the game once it releases later this year.

Be sure to tune in for gameplay footage at E3 2017 as well as later in the year. Need for Speed: Payback will launch on Nov. 10, 2017, on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. If you’re looking to play on PC, you’ll have to play it through Origin.
