After winning his fourth Champions League title in his career, Real Madrid star had a moment after Saturday’s 4-1 win against Juventus with former Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

Cristiano Ronaldo might have capped the greatest 12 months in the history of international football with a brace during Real Madrid’s 4-1 victory over Juventus in the UEFA Champions League Final on Saturday.

Ronaldo scored twice against the Old Lady, marking the third time in the last four overall matches that he had scored at least two goals in a match for Los Blancos.

Before CR7 became the international legend that you see today, his legend began to truly build during his six seasons as a member of Manchester United. During his time with the Premier League’s gold standard club, he played under one of the best coaches of all-time: Sir Alex Ferguson.

After Ronaldo won his fourth title on Saturday, he spoke with his old boss away from the pitch for a second in what was a pretty cool moment captured.

It’s a pretty telling sign when Ronaldo calls Ferguson, “boss.” Ronaldo has become one of the greatest footballers that has even lived and still respects the heck out of his former coach in Manchester. After all these years, this is pretty cool to see two football icons having a chat after arguably the best player on the planet today had another fantastic performance.

During his six seasons under the greatest coach in Premier League history, Ronaldo scored 84 overall goals, including a season in 2007-08 where he scored 31 goals in 34 total appearances for the Red Devils and won the PL’s Golden Boot award for the most goals in that season. That season marked the first time Ronaldo won the Champions League (along with United winning the Premier League title to pull the double).
