The Verizon IndyCar Series comes to Belle Isle for its only doubleheader of 2017. Here’s how you can watch the Dual in Detroit live, on TV and online.

Verizon IndyCar Series fans are getting two races for the price of one this weekend as IndyCar heads to Belle Isle for the Dual in Detroit. Teams will compete in the season’s only doubleheader as they race on both Saturday and Sunday.

Can Helio Castroneves follow up his second-place finish in the Indy 500 by snagging his first win of the IndyCar season at Detroit? Castroneves sat atop the speed chart from the Friday practice sessions followed by Graham Rahal.

Detroit will also be the proving ground for former Formula 1 driver Esteban Gutierrez, who makes his IndyCar debut on Saturday as a replacement for the injured Sebastien Bourdais. Gutierrez will have a high bar to reach at the Dual in Detroit, considering that predecessor James Davison was able to lead laps at Indianapolis.

But every team will be pushed to their limits this weekend as the Dual in Detroit is the only event where IndyCar puts on two races in two days. Which squads will thrive under the extra pressure and who will crumble? The only way to find out is to watch IndyCar live.
