Wonder Woman featured a ton of information, but did any other members of the Justice League show up in the movie?

By itself, Wonder Woman is going to be a huge movie. Not only is it by far the best film in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU), but it’s also the final step before the enormous Justice League film. There are other chapters that need to be written to complete that film, but they will start in the ensemble movie itself. Thus, Wonder Woman is the final step to getting there.

In that regard, it would make sense for the filmmakers to include members of the titular band of heroes for the Justice League film in Wonder Woman. However, as the new DC movie is set in World War I largely, that wouldn’t make much sense. The female hero is immortal, whereas the other heroes are not — and even someone like Superman isn’t on Earth yet.

If there were going to be members of the Justice League involved in the movie, it would’ve likely been in a post-credits scene. However, the movie has no scene after the featured film. Naturally, that means it isn’t a possibility.

And ultimately, no member of the Justice League appears in Wonder Woman. With that said, there is at least the mention of one of the members: Batman. More specifically, Bruce Wayne appears in sending the photograph to Diana (WW) that sparks her memory of the events of the movie.

So while Bruce Wayne doesn’t appear in the flesh — and neither do any of the other members — he’s there in spirit and communicating with Wonder Woman. Frankly, that’s more than people probably expected. Regardless, though, we now know that the DCEU can produce a great film in this current lineage. Now let’s hope that Justice League can live up to that bar now.
