Philadelphia Eagles defensive lineman Chris Long trolled a teammate complaining about a flight delay by pretending to be Delta.

Chris Long is known as one of the funniest guys in the NFL. He’s always participating in pranks and shenanigans to keep his team loose. Nobody is exempt from Long’s jokes, not even Fletcher Cox. The defensive lineman complained on Twitter about Delta having flight delays.

As the class clown, Long took advantage of the situation by changing his profile picture and user name to Delta’s. He used some NSFW language to mess with Cox.

That is some grade A trolling by Long. Twitter has seen many people pretend to be reporters and businesses by changing their profile picture. It’s even led to Adam Schefter getting pissed off on national television. But Long’s tweet is so outrageously hilariously, it’s obvious Delta isn’t behind the tweet.

Later, he changed his profile picture and name back to normal. Cox will likely find some way to get revenge on Long, so the Super Bowl champion better watch his back. Until then, expect him to continue to be hilarious and prank everyone he can.

Delta would later respond officially to Cox, but sadly, Long’s tweet was way better than their boring response.

Once he retires from the NFL, Long should tweet from company accounts. Let him deal with the whining customers. It would certainly make things more interesting than seeing Delta give an obviously computerized apology.

Long should provide some leadership and comedy to the Eagles locker room. He’s coming off a successful season with the New England Patriots, helping them win the Super Bowl. Hopefully, some of what Long picked up on from Bill Belichick and company rubs off on his new teammates. The Eagles need all the help they can get.
