When does WWE Extreme Rules 2017 start on June 4?

Extreme Rules is the final pay-per-view for WWE’s RAW brand before the most fantastic pay-per-view of all the times takes place next month in Dallas: Great Balls of Basket. (Actually, it’s “Great Balls of Fire”, but making fun of the event’s name is so much fun.)

But, before we get to Great Balls of Lonzo next month in Big D, there’s some business to handle at Extreme Rules on Sunday night. Five of the biggest names in WWE today will duke it out to see who becomes the No. 1 contender for the WWE Universal Championship next month against “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar.

Lesnar won the title from Goldberg at WrestleMania 33 (yes, that was a thing that actually happened in 2017) and his new contender will be decided among the likes of Bray Wyatt, Finn Balor, Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe and Seth Rollins. That’s a pretty stacked main event.

Further down the card at Extreme Rules, you’ll find stars such as The Hardy Boyz, who will be defending their RAW Tag Team Championship against Sheamus and Cesaro in a Steel Cage match. Dean Ambrose will be defending his Intercontinental Championship against The Miz. Alexa Bliss will be defending her WWE RAW Tag Team Championship against Bayley in a Kendo Stick on a Pole match, which is straight out of the Vince Russo playbook of nonsense.

There’s a lot of fun taking place on Sunday night, but you can’t watch it if you don’t know when it all starts. So, let’s solve that problem for you right now.
