1. Phoenix Suns

This seems like the most possible destination for Jackson to land, and it also provides the best possible fit for the young star.

The Phoenix Suns hold the fourth overall pick, behind the Celtics, Lakers, and 76ers, in the 2017 draft. If everything goes to plan with the Celtics picking Markelle Fultz, and the Lakers taking Lonzo Ball, the 76ers likely wouldn’t take Jackson with their pick. Then, there’s the Suns.

The Suns are in the midst of a rebuild, like everyone else on the list, but are miles ahead as far as talent is concerned than most other teams. Devin Booker provides a true scoring threat at shooting guard, Eric Bledsoe is a talented point guard that may be used as a trade piece, and they have plenty of room to grow in a conference that’s really only guaranteed threat is the Golden State Warriors.

Jackson would be given a really solid opportunity to grow up with some serious talent surrounding him in Phoenix, while also getting significant minutes at his natural position. Jackson could easily win a battle over Jared Dudley or TJ Warren, the team’s two small forwards, and would help to build up a strong, young squad for the Suns to compete with.

Jackson will obviously have tons of suitors, but the Suns provide both a legitimate chance at picking him, and a great fit for future success, should they have him fall to their pick.
