After winning Game 3, the Nashville Predators can even the Stanley Cup Final with the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 4 on Monday, June 5.

The goals finally came for the Nashville Predators in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final. After out-shooting the Penguins 64-39 over the first two games, the Predators had scored only four goals. In Game 3, Nashville exploded for five goals on 33 shots, winning 5-1. The Predators will look to even the series in Game 4, while the Penguins look to win Game 4 and head back to Pittsburgh with a chance to win the Stanley Cup on home ice.

Roman Josi scored the opening goal and had two assists in Game 3. The defenseman has been excellent for Nashville for the entire playoffs. In the Stanley Cup Final, Josi is averaging a team-high 26:28 minutes per game. Nashville leveraged the man advantage in Game 3, scoring two power play goals. The Predators have converted 40 percent of their power plays in the series.

The Penguins need Phil Kessel to elevate his level of play in the series. Through three games, Kessel has one assist. Head coach Mike Sullivan has been rotating his lines rather evenly in the first three games — Sidney Crosby is the only forward averaging more than 17 minutes per game. It would make sense for Sullivan to increase the minutes of Evgeni Malkin, who is leading the team in post-season scoring.

The NHL playoff game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Nashville Predators will be broadcast on the NBC and CBC and Sportsnet in Canada. Live streaming is available on NBC Sports and Sportsnet Now which you can access with your cable or satellite, either online or through their app.
