Cavaliers upset after alleged inappropriate celebration by Steph Curry in Game 3.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are upset with the Warriors. What else is new? Following Kevin Durant’s Game 3 dagger, Steph Curry squatted down there on the court, giving everyone the impression he was taunting them by pooping on the Cleveland home floor. Since the incident, Curry has denied that’s what he was ultimately doing.

Whatever his intention, the celebration has the Cavaliers organization angry. However, in his post-game interview, Curry swears he has no idea what he was doing. You can see both the celebration and the interview below:

I have a hard time believing Curry when he says he has no idea what he was doing. Given his rash behavior mid-game in the past, he tends to act a bit childish at times. Curry knew full well what he was doing, but who’s to blame him? Certainly not me. Unlike the mouthpiece incident, the league won’t take action on this. The only consequence to this act: making the Cavaliers mad.

Is that such a big deal?

So what if Curry wants to celebrate? His team is up 3-0 in the NBA Finals, so he has a right to celebrate. His celebration was quite accurate, too. The Cavaliers played their best game of the series during Game 3, at home. However, they were still unable to stop the dominant force that is the Golden State Warriors.

The Warriors have a chance to close out the series and sweep the Cavs Friday night, all on the Cavs’ home court. If the Cavs want to shut Curry and the Warriors up, they’ll have to win a game. Actually, they’ll have to win the series.

Cleveland made history last season, coming back from down 3-1 in the NBA Finals to beat the Warriors. This year, they’ll have to come down from 3-0. Teams who find themselves down 3-0 in a best of seven series are 0-126 all-time. The Cavs had an excuse two years ago with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love being hurt, but there’s no excuses to be made this year.
