A San Francisco bar is really going out of its way to make sure that Warriors fans enjoy the Game 4 experience.

It’s not uncommon by any means for an establishment to offer up a pretty sweet promotional deal when one of the local pro sports teams is heading for a milestone. Some, however, make you think whether or not the promotion may actually be a good idea. Such is the case during Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Friday night between the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers.

Friday night in Cleveland, the Warriors are gunning for history, as they look for their second title in three seasons, and also to become the first undefeated team in the playoffs in NBA history. While the game is taking place on the east coast in Cleveland, the west coast, where the Warriors reside, is where this insane offering is taking place.

A San Francisco bar is ready to get just about everyone in attendance tonight completely lit, as they’re advertising a shot for every 3-pointer that the Warriors make in Game 4. Yes, a shot for ever 3-POINTER the GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS make!

At first some were skeptical, and rightfully so. What if this is a trick and there’s some good old H20 in those shots? However, Uproxx’s Oliver Maroney went ahead and did some digging, just to find out that, yes, there will indeed be alcohol in these shot glasses.

All right, then. It’s confirmed. This promotion might literally be a death sentence for some people, or a trip to the ER for a stomach pump.

The Warriors are on the brink of history on Friday night, and at least in this part of San Francisco, should they claim that piece of history, then things are about to get all kinds of wild in the streets.

In an update to the story that has been making the rounds, ESPN’s Darren Rovell has received word that the promotion was misidentified, and they will actually be raffling off one shot after every 3-pointer made.

Okay, now this doesn’t seem so insane after all. However, there might be some upset folks in San Fran who were getting ready to really tie one on tonight.
