The Best of Broadway shines bright at the 71st annual Tony Awards. Here’s what you need to know to watch the 2017 Tonys on TV and online.

The 71st annual Tony Awards have arrived to highlight the best and brightest plays and musicals across on Broadway. Here you’ll see revivals like Hello, Dolly! and August Wilson’s Jitney facing off against newcomers like the 2017 Tony juggernaut Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812, which comes in with a dozen nominations.

This year’s Tony Awards will be hosted by the incomparable Kevin Spacey, which promises that the show will be lively and fun. Another highlight of the night will be the presentation of the Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theater to the legendary James Earl Jones.

Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 is a clear frontrunner with nods in all of the major categories, including best acting nominations for actors Josh Groban and Denee Barton.

One of the other hot categories to watch for is the Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play, with Cate Blanchett (The Present), Jennifer Ehle (Oslo), Sally Field (The Glass Menagerie), Laura Linney (Lillian Hellman’s The Little Foxes) and Laurie Metcalf (A Doll’s House, Part 2) all up for the award.

Along with the awards themselves, expect to see some amazing performances from the hottest shows on Broadway right now.
