Taking a look at what channel Fox Sports 1, or FS1, is on Time Warner, DirecTV, Comcast and more so to watch the 2017 Confederations Cup

The 2017 Confederations Cup is set to get underway with the first match from Russia featuring the hosts taking on New Zealand on Saturday, June 17. Though the two sides aren’t favorites for the FIFA competition, they kick off what should be an exciting tournament. No, it’s not the World Cup, but it’s the appetizer to it, and that’s well worth watching.

There are some big-time squads readying for the tournament, which should raise the intrigue. What’s more, many of them are bringing their A-squad, which is obviously what fans want to see. While a team like Germany necessarily isn’t, Portugal will have Cristiano Ronaldo, Chile is bringing Alexis Sanchez, Mexico can rely on Chicharito, and so on.

Considering that type of talent on the way to Russia, the Confederations Cup is welcomed. With club season over, soccer fans across the world need something to fill the void. This tournament should do the trick, and do it well. Sure, anything would be better than nothing at this point. But these clubs could produce high-quality matches, all of which can be seen on Fox Sports

With the matches being played on Fox Sports 1 (FS1), what channel do you need to turn to for the 2017 Confederations Cup? Here’s a look at the channel number for the big providers:

Obviously the Confederations Cup doesn’t hold the same weight as the World Cup, or maybe even the Gold Cup. However, international soccer is great no matter what. And with some relatively substantial stakes, you’ll want to stay fixated on FS1 throughout.
