Nintendo won’t have a press conference this year, as has become standard, but it will have a presentation in the form of its Spotlight.

This year’s E3 schedule has meant that Nintendo has Tuesday all to itself, at least in terms of making announcements. Now, this could mean that it’ll feel underwhelming after Microsoft and Sony make their announcements.

However, Nintendo has surprised already this year with its Switch launch event and the ensuing strong sales. With it still being tough to find the system, speaking anecdotally for a moment here, the company will look to keep that trend rolling by some big announcements.

Here’s the company’s own preview:

"“Nintendo’s activities at E3 kick off with the Nintendo Spotlight: E3 2017 video presentation, featuring a closer look at the Super Mario Odyssey game and new details for Nintendo Switch™ games launching this year.”"

Before we get to that large title, let’s speculate some on what other games Nintendo has hinted we’ll see. An obvious guess is Fire Emblem Warriors. A Direct earlier this year announced it would be coming out this year, both on the Nintendo 3DS and the Switch. Additionally, we could see more of Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Additionally, the company has taken time to highlight third-party contributions in the past. Super Mario Odyssey might be the crown jewel of the holiday season, but there are those who won’t be picking the game up and might look for non-Nintendo properties.

Speaking of, Super Mario Odyssey always had a “holiday 2017” release date. it would not come as a surprise if there’s a release date — and it’s our top thing we want to see (and, in case you can’t tell, yours truly agrees with her colleague and really wants to see some Fire Emblem).

"Date: June 13Start time: 12 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. CT / 10 a.m. MT / 9 a.m PTLive stream: Nintendo @ E3 | Twitch | YouTube"

Alternatively, if you don’t have time to watch the full streams, keep an eye on FanSided and on the official Twitter account. Afterwards, as Nintendo confirms, there will be Treehouse streams, with more streams on June 14 and 15.
