Here’s what the updated 2017 U.S. Open leaderboard looks like at Erin Hills after 36 holes played this weekend.

Moving Day isn’t until Saturday at Erin Hills for the 117th U.S. Open Championship, but the board was changing quite often on Friday in Wisconsin.

Rickie Fowler stormed out and ahead of the field in Round 1 with a -7 (65), which tied the record for the lowest first round in the history of the U.S. Open. Fowler struggled a bit on the back nine on Friday with three straight bogeys in the first four holes on the back, but righted the ship a bit and finished -6 overall after a +1 (73) on the day.

One of the men of the day that stole the show on Friday was Hideki Matsuyama. After shooting a +2 (74) in his opening round on Thursday, Matsuyama flew up the leaderboard with a -7 (65), which was what Fowler shot out of the gate with a day prior.

With that 65, it put him in prime position to chase after his first major championship over the weekend along with Fowler and guys like Paul Casey, who shot a -1 (71) to jump into a tie for the lead. Tommy Fleetwood also joined Casey later in the day with a -2 (70) atop the leaderboard with 36 holes left at Erin Hills this weekend.
