The Florida State Seminoles face the LSU Tigers in Omaha for the start of the College World Series, and here’s all the info you need to watch

It’s always a treat at the College World Series when you get two hot teams facing off. That’s what’s on the bill for Saturday, June 17 and opening day from Omaha as LSU and Florida State are set to square off. These two teams are both primed to make a run, but it wall starts with getting that first victory.

LSU enters this matchup on a 16-game winning streak and looking primed for their first championship since 2009. The Tigers will likely throw stud Alex Lange at Florida State, which is not a welcomed sight for the Seminoles. However, LSU also has big bats to hit whatever’s thrown at them, particularly with the likes of Greg Deichmann ready to hit a few dingers.

On the other hand, Florida State will look to shock the LSU pitching a bit as their bats have been glowing with power in the tournament up to now. Jackson Lueck won the Super Regionals for them, but he’s a beast at all times at the plate. With that said, the Seminoles have pitching talent of their own as Tyler Holton will give the Tigers all they can handle.
