Carmella won the first-ever Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match on Sunday night, and it got some major heat on Twitter for the finish.

Money in the Bank is always an event full of surprises, but it looks like WWE may have gone a little too far with their booking of the finish for Carmella to win the match.

In the history-making, first-ever women’s Money in the Bank ladder match, the finish saw Carmella win the briefcase after interference from her boyfriend James Ellsworth. Ellsworth pushed Becky Lynch off of a ladder, and climbed the ladder to grab the briefcase from above before dropping it down into Carmella’s arms.

The match was getting plenty of praise up until its final moments, with many giving the company some major props for starting off the event with the women, and letting them shine on the big stage. However, not many were pleased with the finish, and many pointed out how the ending tarnished what could go down as such an important moment in women’s wrestling history.

Obviously, Twitter was all over the match and its finish, and some of the biggest names out there commented on the controversial ending. To sum it all up in one place, here are some of the best reactions to the match:

Carmella could have the chance to cash in her new luggage pretty quick, as the SmackDown Women’s Champion Naomi will defend her belt against Lana later on in the night. Last year, we witnessed Dean Ambrose winning the Money in the Bank ladder match and cashing in on Seth Rollins to end the night, so anything can happen.

Either way, whenever Carmella decides to cash in her briefcase, it’ll be a historic moment and a first for the women’s revolution. When it happens, just remember it all happened because of James Ellsworth.
