The Florida Gators and TCU Horned Frogs will square off in the College World Series from Omaha on Sunday night.

The College World Series is officially underway from Omaha. On Saturday, two thrilling games that came down to the wire got things kicked off and set the tone. On Sunday, four more teams will try to live up to the billing.

The nightcap on Sunday night, will feature the Florida Gators taking on the TCU Horned Frogs. These two traditional college baseball powers are primed for the moment and ready for their chance to move onto the winner’s bracket.

The Horned Frogs have been able to triumph without Luken Baker in the lineup. The first baseman injured himself back in May with a ligament injury but the team has managed to play winning baseball since he went down.

Without his bat in the lineup, the Horned Frogs are going to have to do what they can to scratch and claw some runs in against the Gators. Besides Oregon State, there might not be a team in the country that knows how to pull of close wins like Florida.

This type of environment and the way that they play should be key. It’s always fun to watch two great baseball schools square off and this game has the potential to be a Father’s Day classic in the making.
