Philadelphia 76ers’ Joel Embiid turned to Twitter to get back at Milwaukee Bucks’ Wes Eden’s comments on Philly’s slogan to “Trust the Process.”

It’s the NBA offseason, with the draft set to happen on Thursday night. It’s the time of year that players have nothing better to do than address those Twitter trolls. Yet, this time it happens to be the Milwaukee Bucks’ owner, not a Twitter troll.

During a press conference, Bucks’ owner, Wes Edens, went to say “Guys in Philly want to talk about the process, I’d rather talk about the results.” Ooooooh boy, now he wasn’t even asked about Philadelphia. What a shot at the Philadelphia 76ers, who continue to build up future assets to build their team for the long-term.

76ers’ Joel Embiid has basically been the “Trust the Process” police, as he’s been repeatedly saying it on social media. He wasn’t going to let the Bucks’ owner get away with this one, as he took to Twitter immediately to clap back at Edens.

That’s strong for a player who’s just appeared in 31 games during a three-season stretch. Yes, he was spectacular during those 31 games, but still his injury concerns are huge. Joel Embiid also went to Twitter earlier this week to post that the addition of Markelle Fultz could make the 76ers, “legendary.”

His social media game has been strong during this summer, but has he been working on his basketball game? Hopefully, because the Philadelphia 76ers are going to need all of it in the Fall, when they’ll be looking to get out of the bottom of the Eastern Conference.

For now, all we’re going to get is more Joel Embiid clapping back at people on Twitter for calling out the Philadelphia 76ers. Fans in Philly, as your leader says, just sit back and just “Trust the Process.”
