Adidas unveiled four LA-themed colorways of the new ‘Harden LS’

Springing off the Harden Vol. 1, adidas has introduced the latest installment from James Harden’s signature sneaker line with the Harden LS.

Adidas and James Harden announced Tuesday the unveiling of the Harden LS, the latest shoe in James Harden’s signature line that offers more of a lifestyle feel.

The general idea surrounding the concept was to convey an off the court look centered around Harden’s L.A. roots. The introduction of the LS will kick off with four unique colorways, each with its own intended story.

"LA Life — Inspired by the California palm trees and ocean views, the LA Life is designed in triple white Primeknit with silver accents and a marbled outsole. It pays respect to the town where Harden learned to dream and fulfills those dreams.Fast Life — Life in the fast lane – shifting gears at a moment’s notice the game never sleeps. Fast Life is built with custom detailing, highlighted by burgundy and candy orange Primeknit threads lifted on black BOOST and a gum outsole.Night Life — From pregame tunnels to the runway, Harden can make a statement simply by owning the moment. He keeps his style clean one night and is ready to show out the next. The Night Life is suited in black and white Primeknit with XENO three stripes on the heel and glow-in-the-dark elements featured on the Harden Mark.Sweet Life — The Sweet Life features pink Primeknit across the upper and gold detailing accented on the three stripes and outsole. It all starts with those that support your dreams and for James Harden that began with his mother Monja. From the first basketball hoop she bought him as a kid, to the home he purchased for her after signing his first NBA contract, the game always finds a way to give back."

Here’s a look at all four colorways, starting with “Fast Life” because it’s a gem.

The mix of burgundy and candy orange on top of the black BOOST and gum outsole pretty much seals the deal for me.

Bottom line, if you’re gonna wear red sneakers they ideally need to be balanced out with other accents and that’s exactly what we’re getting with “Fast Life.”

Up next is “LA Life” which is a clear no-brainer.

Any time the words “adidas” and “triple white” are strung together it usually equates to people frothing at the mouth.

This instance would be no different. Now go ahead and commence frothing.

Additionally, I’m definitely gonna need a pair of those sunglasses as soon as heavenly possible, James.

The “Night Life” colorway is basically the polar opposite of the triple whites — or any of the versions for that matter — as it features glow-in-the-dark elements on the tongue of the shoe.

The subtle Oreo-looking blend on the upper with the splash of color on the heel and the icy outsole will likely cause a fiery internal debate when deciding which colorway to ultimately throw in the shopping cart.

Finally, we have the “Sweet Life” colorway.

Definitely not for everyone, but this one is all about James and his mom, so no hating is allowed.

All four colorways — LA Life, Fast Life, Night Life and Sweet Life — are set to release on adidas.com and FootLocker, but you’ll have to stay in tune with James Harden on Twitter and Instagram to find out when each LS colorway will drop.
