The Texas A&M Aggies and TCU Horned Frogs will battle in an elimination game in the 2017 College World Series on Tuesday afternoon in Omaha.

The College World Series bid farewell to its first fallen competitor on Monday. Cal State Fullerton lost to Florida State and will now be going home. On Tuesday, either Texas A&M or TCU will be joining them.

Both of these schools lost their first game and now one of them will be seeing their dream of winning it all come to an end. For the other, it’s a chance at redemption in yet another elimination game.

The Horned Frogs are going to need a lot more punch in their lineup this time around. Against the Florida Gators, TCU wasn’t able to scrape any runs across the board and that’s a recipe for a loss every single time.

It was the opposite problem for Texas A&M. They allowed Louisville to score eight runs and that put them in the elimination game. They’ll need to shore up their pitching against a team that struggled to score runs.

It’s an interesting dynamic currently with both of these teams and one Texas school will be going home. Who will come out on top and earn a spot in yet another game at TD Ameritrade Park this week?
