Ohio State fan gets creative mowing a Michigan fan’s lawn (Video)

The rivalry between Ohio State and Michigan is obviously heated, so maybe this Michigan fan won’t make this mistake again when it comes to mowing his lawn.

Ohio State and Michigan has long been known as one of the biggest rivalries in college sports, and things get heated whenever these two Big Ten rivals get associated with each other. It apparently gets even worse the second you ask a rival fan to mow your lawn.

In a video posted by Ohio State fan Ty Higgins on Facebook, he showcases how he decided to take matters into his own hands when a Michigan fan asked him to take care of his yard for him.

Higgins posted the video with the caption: “My neighbor is a big *ichigan fan. He is out of town this week and asked me to watch over his place. I thought I’d spruce it up a bit!” It’s safe to say Higgins did just that by mowing “Ohio” into the yard, which likely won’t go over well if he has to ask for sugar anytime soon.

This is obviously a less-extreme “prank” than how things usually go with college sports rivalries, and it’s not like anything was permanently damaged because of the rivalry, other than maybe the Michigan fan’s pride.

Who knows how the fan took it or will take it when he gets back from his trip, but let’s just say thinks might get a bit awkward at any neighborhood gatherings from now on.

Let’s all just take this as a lesson: if you’re heading out of town for a bit and need your yard to be tended to or anything done around the house, maybe give one of your friends a call who likes your team, or just doesn’t care about sports. If not, you probably deserve this.
