2017 NHL Draft: TV schedule, time, date, online and more
Here’s all the information you need to watch the first round of the 2017 NHL Draft.
The NHL Draft marks the unofficial start to the NHL’s offseason. Why? Because it’s held during the fourth weekend of June, with free agency starting in July. Teams get to improve their roster with whatever picks they have. Some keep them while others trade them for immediate help. The 2017 NHL Draft will be held on Friday June 23 and Saturday June 24 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
On Friday evening, beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET, the first round will start, with the final six rounds being held on Saturday. Whether you’re doing it live at the draft, from your living room or even at a bar, booing NHL commissioner Gary Bettman never gets old.
Barring any trades, here is the first round draft order, as of Friday morning. With the Vegas Golden Knights joining the NHL, there are now 31 picks instead of 30.

One exciting thing to watch should be how many more picks the Golden Knights can get. They already have three first round picks and they’re actively trying to get more. This should be a very fun first round, to say the least.
