American Ninja Warrior season 9: Daytona Beach qualifiers live stream

American Ninja Warrior is going to get a little nutty — Wingnutty, that is — with the Daytona Beach qualifying course this week.

American Ninja Warrior‘s debuted a couple of dastardly obstacles already in season 9, but the Daytona Beach qualifying course might have the toughest of them all. Yes, even harder than the Battering Ram or the Sky Hooks.

That’s because you can face forward when you’re doing those obstacles. The Wingnuts are not so kind.

Here’s “Crashing the Course” for this week, which introduces the obstacle:

Since the Wingnuts are just the third obstacle, expect there to be a lot of would-be ninjas who make it through the first two obstacles only to fall in the water halfway through.

Of course, it looks like Jessie Graff will make it through the obstacle, if you look closely:

As an aside, how appropriate to wear a Spider-Man costume the year that Spider-Man: Homecoming comes out. Anyways, we now are just missing one obstacle on the course. The press release lists the Rolling Pin as the other new obstacle, and you can see Graff going down it. She also runs the Broken Bridge.

Since the release lists the Rolling Pin first, it’s likely that it comes ahead of Wingnuts in the course. “Crashing the Course” confirms that Wingnuts is the third obstacle. So, the first three obstacles are probably the Floating Steps, Rolling Pin, and Wingnuts. And, as the L.A. course proved, agility obstacles like the Broken Bridge usually show up in the fourth position. The taller Warped Wall will end things, as it always does, so there’s just one mystery obstacle.
