2. Kyle Korver

Bring on some more Cleveland role players! Korver had a down year in 2015-2016 before playing important minutes for the Cavs as they made their finals run last year. In Milwaukee he would bring elite shooting to a team that could really use it. Korver developed a nice chemistry with LeBron in Cleveland that the Bucks could replicate with Giannis. He’d give Milwaukee some much needed spacing on offense that would make Giannis’ game as a passer and driver even more deadly. Kover’s limitations on the defense become more obvious against the league’s best teams, but he competes on that end. He isn’t a total sieve that will bleed points when he’s on the court.

The Cavs have Korver’s Bird Rights, so they can bring him back if they want to. The question for them will be how much he is willing to take. Cleveland’s luxury tax payment could balloon if they re-sign Korver at market price. He should be available at the full MLE, although paying that much for a guy that will turn 37 next March could look pretty rough on the salary sheet. Korver’s rare shooting ability might be worth that risk though. If he is available at a lower price, the Bucks should obviously try to sign him.
