2. Greg Monroe

Monroe saw his career take a nose dive when he joined the Bucks back in 2015. Monroe was coming off a successful season and was excited to cash in during free agency. He did with the Bucks, but it hasn’t been a happy marriage.

In 2015, Monroe was one of the hottest centers to hit the open market. With his passing and polished postgame, it seemed like the opportunities were endless for Greg. He ultimately signed with the Bucks and it hasn’t worked out the way they hoped. In his first season, his disastrous defense was a major issue and he couldn’t quite make up for it on offense. Last season, he actually bounced back becoming a legitimate Sixth Man of the Year candidate and anchoring bench units with his strong interior play.

However, Monroe may still have lingering memories from that difficult first season (or a desire to start) and be looking for a new home. His defensive flaws are there, but his offensive production is definitely valuable. Also, he’s only going to be 27 next season.
