1. Nerlens Noel

Nerlens Noel is the best center in the 2017 NBA free agency class but, that doesn’t mean that he will be leaving Dallas. The Mavericks paid a pretty penny for Noel, and they seem to be fully invested in their future with him.

Noel is a defensive monster. His big frame and long wingspan allow him to stop the ball whenever it enters the danger zone. He is very athletic and can practically jump out of the gym.

It was great to see him traded to the Mavericks because they actually wanted him on the team. Back in Philadelphia, he was the odd man out. Between injuries and bench visits, the time he spent with the 76ers was a waste. He was fed up with Philadelphia, and the feeling was mutual. So, he was shipped to Dallas where he teamed up with Dirk and his youngins’.

This year’s Mavericks will be better than last year’s, and Noel is a part of their future plans. The pick-and-roll between him and Dennis Smith Jr. will be a deadly routine. The future is bright for Mark Cuban and his young Mavs.
