Chandler Parsons poked fun at the Los Angeles Clippers on Twitter following the Chris Paul trade.

Twitter blew up with different reactions to the Clippers/Rockets trade for Chris Paul. After previously saying he was opting-out, Paul opted-in with the Clippers and was traded to the Rockets. It was the kind of earth-shattering and unexpected news that can send social media buzzing, however, the best Tweet came from Memphis Grizzlies forward and former Rocket, Chandler Parsons.

Parsons wasted no time taking a jab at the Clippers after the fiasco with DeAndre Jordan two summers ago. During that offseason, DeAndre Jordan was close to joining the Dallas Mavericks before the Clippers held Jordan back and convinced him to stay. Parsons, who spent 2015 with the Mavericks before traveling to Memphis, was not happy then. Obviously he’s still a bit salty about the situation. Paul Pierce also poked some fun at himself and his tweeting of an image of an emoji during the Jordan fiasco.

As a result of the Tweet, Parsons was nailed with some pretty harsh responses. The 28-year old has bounced around from city to city throughout his career. Parsons has never really lived up to his full potential, whether that be due to injury or other causes. However, one trait has remained constant throughout his career; his willingness to always speak his mind.

This is not Parsons’ first outlandish Tweet and certainly will not be his last. Arguably his most memorable shenanigan came when the Grizzlies signed Parsons to a massive deal last offseason. Parsons criticized the Blazers via Twitter, when CJ McCollum hit the Grizzlies forward with one of the best clap-backs in NBA Twitter history. Despite being months ago, Twitter is not letting Parsons forget the epic response.

Parsons was limited to just 34 games in 2016 before an injury ended his season. Which makes one wonder just how much longer the 28-year old will remain in the league.

We may be seeing the last of Parsons on the court, but his presence on Twitter will surely be here to stay.
