Germany face Mexico at Fisht Stadium in Sochi, Russia in a Confederations Cup semifinal on Thursday, June 29. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Germany and Mexico were surely circled by many as two potential winners for the 2017 Confederations Cup. However, no one knew if that’d come to fruition once in Russia. Entering the second semifinal match on Thursday, June 29, it’s held true. Now Germany and Mexico will battle it out at Fisht Stadium for the right to play Chile in the final.

Both countries picked up two wins and a draw in the group stage. Funny enough, the draws from each team came against the other two teams that played in a semifinal, Chile (who drew the Germans) and Portugal (who tied the Mexicans). Now up against some of the elite in this cup tournament, there will be no draw, which should make for a huge showcase.

Julian Draxler is the clear leader for this Germany side, and will look to push them through. His counterpart in terms of leadership on Mexico, though, is of course Chicharito. Both players are capable of exploding and finding net at any moment. With a trip to the 2017 Confederations Cup final on the line, it could come down to which star pushes his team further and harder.
