5. Kyle Korver

Last season the 76ers ranked within the league’s top ten teams in 3-point attempts. They didn’t really make all that many of those attempts though, finishing in the bottom ten in makes (per Basketball-Reference)! Adding Kyle Korver could really improve Philly’s 3-point shooting and its cramped offensive spacing. He’s consistently one of the league’s most effective players in catch-and-shoot situations. A player with Korver’s skill set could unlock some new looks for this Philly team.

At this point in his career, playing him 20-25 minutes per game off of the bench is probably the best use of Korver. Playing him alongside Ben Simmons could make for a devastating offensive combination. With Simmons’ innate passing abilities and Korver’s deadeye shooting, units featuring the two could be killer on offense.

Korver isn’t a great defender, but he’s also not a total liability on that end. His physical and defensive abilities certainly won’t improve as he ages into the upper thirties though. Even so, the Sixers would be signing Korver for his shooting. Overpaying a bit for his services might be worthwhile for the 76ers. A two-year deal for $20 million should beat any other offer for the 36 year-old.

On a lighter note, a return to Philly might entice Korver to bring back this ridiculous hairdo. Embrace the Ashton Kutcher look Kyle; we all know that you’re the same person.
