2. J.J. Redick

The Orlando Magic probably can’t afford J.J. Redick, but the only time he has ever been to the NBA Finals was with them. Redick will command over $10 million per year at least, and that is out of the Magic’s price range. If he still has an affinity for Florida though, then Orlando would be a nice place for him to land. Redick has a family now, so moving them will be in consideration, but he might like being closer to Virginia where he is originally from. Shooting has never been more valuable in the NBA, and any team trying to beat the Golden State Warriors or Cleveland Cavaliers will need gunners to compete.

The Los Angeles Clippers will let Redick go so they can save the money to re-sign Blake Griffin and Chris Paul, and that will make J.J. a hot commodity this summer. The Magic might not have a great shot at snagging him; however, they should give it a chance if they can get Redick into a room with them. The recent addition of Jerry West as a consultant might help the Clippers retain their current roster, but how much can “The Logo” really do when the cap numbers don’t make sense on both sides.
